Mocking.Dev

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 12, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Mocking.Dev, including its mock data generator and developer tools (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Mocking.Dev provides browser-based tools for generating fictional mock data and completing common development, testing, formatting, and prototyping tasks. Features may be added, changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available or error-free.

2. Acceptable use

You may use the Service and generated output for lawful personal or commercial projects. You must not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, use automated requests that unreasonably burden the Service, or use the Service in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.

3. Your content and generated output

You remain responsible for information you enter into the Service and for how you use generated output. Generated data is fictional and may accidentally resemble real people, businesses, identifiers, or events. You must review output before using it and must not treat it as verified, accurate, or suitable for production decisions. Do not submit personal, confidential, or production data to the Service.

4. Intellectual property

The Service, including its original design, software, branding, and website content, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Service to you. Subject to these Terms, you may freely use, modify, and distribute output generated through the Service. Third-party libraries, trademarks, and content remain subject to their respective licenses and owners’ rights.

5. Third-party services

The Service may use or link to third-party services and resources. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s terms and policies.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all generated output are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. You use the Service at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mocking.Dev and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum amount permitted by law.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
